RED&Pink News

Click here for the latest edition of the ECOSY Red&Pink Newsletter, with it comes not only an invitation for the largest annual LGBT activity of the socialist youth - Queer Easter 2008 - but furthermore some more good news, provided by the European Court for Human Rights, which declared the practice of refusing adoption to homosexuals in France as an act of discrimination.
This was a successful kick-off the year 2008, which will be an exciting and a challenging year for the ECOSY Queer Network. Some highlights can be expected, such as the ECOSY Summer Camp & the Networks Seminar. But what would those activities be without you, young socialists and social democrats from Europe and beyond?! It is you and your contributions to fruitful political discussions & in our common activities we need, to struggle united to overcome discrimination & to achieve equality for LGBT people. The ECOSY Queer Network is you! I invite you therefore to get involved and to contribute to our united fight for a more equal, more just, for a socialist society.

Socialist rainbow greetings,
Conny

ECOSY Queer Network Coordinator

PS The Network also likes to recommend this report about homophobia in Poland, it has been produced by two of the biggest LGBT organisations in Poland.

International Day Against Homophobia

Just as last year IFM-SEI, IUSY and ECOSY – Young European Socialists produced a joined newsletter to mark IDAHO, the International Day Against Homophobia. Click here to download the newsletter.
