IUSY/ECOSY meeting about Kosovo 6-8/6/2003

IUSY & ECOSY organised at Vienna a meeting for the Kosovo Issue 6-8/6/2003)

Representatives from the youth organisations of Kosovo parties (C.L.D.K., Democratic Party of Kosova and Alliance for the Future of Kosova) participated at the meeting.
Also, the meeting was attended by the youth organisations from the Serbian Government coalition´s parties (Democratic Party, SDP and SDU).
 
It was the first time that the two sides had met and they agreed to sign an Open Letter for the coming Summit of European Union in Thessalonika.
 
The main point of the Open letter is:
Any solution of Kosovo has to be based on the will of the people of Kosovo, on the respect of the rights of minorities and on the right of return of all refugees and displaced persons from Kosovo back home.
