IUSY/ECOSY Study Visit to Turkey

ECOSY and IUSY organised a Study visit in Turkey, which took place on 20th June, directly after the Balkan Round Table and Black Sea Cooperation Meeting of IUSY in Istambul. The Study Visit Crew, composed of 6 comrades, had an intensive day meeting with SODEV, CHP and DEHAP, but also had a chance to visit TESEV and the Forum for International Policy (led by K.Davies, whom we met in person and had a chance to congratulate directly on his new mission within the UN). The day was very challenging; many questions were posed, mainly on: EU Enlargement and the accession of Turkey in reflection of what has been acknowledged as a crisis over the EU Council. The visit was very successful, very intensive and very inspiring.
